Delicious beer, delicious unique food choices (we had the curried chicken salad sandwich) delicious homemade bread. Wish we could buy a loaf. The bartender was awesome, friendly and knowledgeable.

Definitely a great stop for both locals and travelers alike. The vibe is friendly and welcoming and definitely lively whenever the live music is playing. I highly recommend a stop in here no matter what you're looking for.

Great vibe!! I love the look and feel of the place. I enjoyed the Quoddy Head Red beer. The IPA was a bit smokey? The food is fresh and local. I can’t wait to see some music here.

I had a lot of fun hanging out here for a few hours. My favorite thing about this brewery was that it is dog friendly. Bar tender were friendly and let me sample a few beers before I decided on what I wanted to order. Local people hang out here and were nice to talk to. There is lots of seating and the brewery is designed so that you can have your privacy or have freedom to socialize

Warm and friendly place. Good selection of beers. Tasty and creative selection of vegan dishes, but there are a couple of dishes with meat. Delicious pizzas too. They use locally sourced foods as much as possible. Live music on many nights (which did not overwhelm the conversation) . Definitely check it out if visiting Lubec.

Great brews and food. Great friendly service. A bit different than the seafood places we visited along the shore of Maine. Small servings but excellent food. Limited menu.

I would give this place 10 stars if it was possible... I was passing through Lubec really late, after visiting the West Quoddy Head, the Eastern Most Point in the USA...Even though the kitchen was closed, the really nice couple, who run this brewpub here, told me that they want to feed me because there was nothing else open for miles...They went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I was really overwhelmed by their kindness...Now to the food and beer; They have some really good beer that they brew on site, and creative entree's on their menu.... I really liked their Spinach Dahl on rice...Must visit if you are in the area....

Drove into Lubec at 530p and headed straight to eat because we heard restaurants fill up early and can run out of food. This place was really cool. Wife and I with three teenagers did not get there early enough for table seat but we grabbed sofa and chair. 1.5 hour wait for pizza. Ugh. But..Apps came out earlier and were good. Tried a few of the beers and enjoyed them. Blueberry soda and root beer for kids. Good pizza! Friendly staff. Couple guys playing some live music in the corner. Definitely a local feel to this place. We liked it.

Great in house brews. Sourdough is made from spent grains used to make the beer, simply wonderful. Food was amazing! Owner and staff quickly becomes your friend! Cozy atmosphere, live music.

Quaint and laid back just like Lubec! In other words: sweet and awesome!

Lots of vegetarian options. Local beer, bake their own bread. Lots of locals enjoying the live music on a Saturday night at the end of tourist season.

Awesome nano-brewery off the beaten path. Gale does a great job with English pub inspired brews with something for virtually every craft beer lover.

Excellent place to enjoy locals in an area quickly losing its heritage.. music is always great, service is always friendly. For locals and buy locals. The beer can be hit-and-miss but honestly, I'm tired of sterile quality control. So I consider it as much a virtue in an age where many breweries are government subsidized (not kidding, that's what my hometown did).

Awesome place. Menu changes almost daily. Had pulled pork tacos with the BEST coleslaw salad ever. So good I had to have a second salad.

Neat little brewery in the quaint little border town of Lubec. The beers I tried were decent, but none were outstanding. Some interesting styles were available even I visited, though! Super nice employees and patrons.

Great sourdough pizza and decent beer. The Red Ale was good! But the service was a disaster. The bartender, she was trying to hold the whole place together, because the boy waiting tables was clueless and could only do 1 thing at a time.

Stopped here while doing Bike Maine. I loved the atmosphere and the people. Everything is real here. Plus, it's worth a stop just to say you were at the most eastern brewery in the U.S. I'm an IPA dude and they had a good flagship IPA that I got down with.

Music is great, beer is sub par, tastes like everything is sour. Food is close, but over priced for quality and quantity.

We had wanted to try this place for a few years and finally got there last evening. We were so disappointed. They did not have the sourdough pizza (or any pizza). The waitress said they would serve it again in October -it is July. It was extremely hot and we requested ice water with lemon to drink with our meals. Waitress said the ice machine was broken and they did not have lemon. We stayed-though several people had walked out-and ordered from the dinner menu. I ordered a $15 dollar salad which came in a small bowl (for that price, I expected a dinner size salad as that was one of the entrees), and my husband ordered salmon tacos which were very small for $15. We both wanted some of the house made bread and were told it was $2.00 each. We each received a half slice of very dried out cold bread and no offer of butter. We would never return to this place.

Tasty beer and they have a cool little bar room. Definitely worth a stop in!

Really wanted to love this place given the location. They do a really nice job on the food but all the beer has off flavors. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff, hopefully the beer will improve wth time.

Great atmosphere and live music from a local group- Minor Characters! The owner was wonderful to talk to. I sincerely can't wait to go back to this wonderful downeast gem!

Great place with a friendly atmosphere. They had good music when we were there and the beers were excellent. Sadly we had already eaten but the menu looked amazing and very reasonably priced. Will definitely visit next time we are there.

Delightful place- very friendly/interesting staff, cool beer offerings, lovely local music when we were there, and great food (get there close to 5 when the kitchen opens if you want (sourdough crust) pizza! It's limited supply but you can really tell the chefs care about their craft/people eating well- they literally came out at various points to give recipes and one happily gave me sourdough starter and detailed instructions to feed/use it!!).

We enjoyed the brews and the people we met were fun and so interesting it was hard to leave even though they were closing for the day. Will stop there on our next trip to Maine !

DO NOT MISS THOS PLACE! Great beer, service, and food. A limited menu, but very good. Entertainment, open Mic night! McGinley and Gale are the wonderful owners! A MUST SEE, MUST BE IN DOWNEAST MAINE!

Fun place to stop in often has live music. They make their own brews and have some decent pizza. Often times they have live music which can be pleasant with the meal. Tip: this place stops serving early and they (and the rest of the restaurants in this tiny town) seemingly open and close on a whim which adds to the quirky character of this town. Tip 2 they run out of pizza often...

We found this gem of a place on our way to Water Street Pub and Grill. I love the iPad and assortment of beers and wine, even tested the hummus. Left for supper and came back for more plus the music. A purely pleasant afternoon and evening.Thanks for today

We came in right as the place was opening for the day. The owner, Gale, sat down with us and drank his coffee while we sampled beers and chatted about his story. Amazing place with an amazing owner and delicious beers!

Lubec has a few hidden gems, and this is one of them. The owner is very passionate about brewing and the beer is phenomenal! Go there to try something new or unusual, you won't regret it.
